Sweet Werewolves of Alabama

I created this mashup from the original multitracks of both Sweet Home Alabama by Lynrd Skynrd and Werewolves of London by Warren Zevon. This project required a strenuous amount of time stretching in order to work.

Lyrics:

[Verse 1]

I saw a werewolf with a Chinese menu in his hand

Singing songs about the southland

Walking through the streets of SoHo in the rain

Carrying me home to see my kin

[Chorus]

Ah-hoo, werewolves of London

Ah-hoo

Ah-hoo, werewolves of London

Ah-hoo

[Verse 2]

Well I heard Mr. Young sing about her

Little old lady got mutilated late last night

Well I heard old Neil put her down

Well I hope Neil Young will remember (Werewolves of London again)

[Chorus]

Sweet home Alabama (Ah-hoo)

Where the skies are so blue (Ah-hoo)

Sweet Home Alabama (Ah-hoo)

Lord, I’m coming home to you (Ah-hoo)

[Instrumental]

[Verse 3]

In Birmingham they love werewolves of London (Boo, boo, boo)

Now we all did what we could do (You better not let him in)

Now Watergate does not bother me (Umph)

Does your conscience bother you?

Tell the truth

[Chorus]

Ah-hoo, werewolves of sweet home Alabama

Where the skies are so blue

Ah-hoo, werewolves of sweet home Alabama

Lord, I’m coming home to you

Here I come Alabama

[Instrumental]

[Bridge]

There’s good people in Alabama

Let Mr. Young know that

He’s the hairy handed gent who ran amuck in Kent

You hear him howling around your kitchen door

Aah, Ah-hoo, werewolves of Alabama

Aah, Ah-hoo, Alabama

Aah, Ah-hoo, werewolves of London (Alabama) (Huh)

Aah, Ah-hoo, Alabama

[Instrumental]

[Verse 4]

Now Muscle Shoals has got the Swampers (Huh, I’d like to meet his tailor)

And they’ve been known to pick a song or two (Yes they do) (You better stay away from him)

Lord they get me off so much (He’ll rip your lungs out, Jim)

They pick me up when I’m feeling blue

Now how about you? (Huh, draw blood)

[Chorus]

Sweet home Alabama (I saw a werewolf)

Where the skies are so blue (Doing the werewolves of London)

Sweet Home Alabama (I saw a werewolf)

Lord, I’m coming home to you (One more, baby) (And his hair was perfect)

[Chorus]

Sweet home Alabama (Ah-hoo) (Oh sweet home baby)

Where the skies are so blue (And the guv’nor’s werewolf)

(Huh, draw blood) Sweet Home Alabama (Ah-hoo) (Lordy)

Lord, I’m coming home to you

Yea

[Outro]

Ooh(Ah-hoo)

(Alabama-rama) Gonna get a big dish of beef chow mein (I’ve done all I could for you)
